APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS MONTH
But, we shouldn't stop when April is over with. Often we choose to ignore this growing problem. Child abusers are walking the streets right now. They are preying on our young children. They could be the man/woman standing behind you in the grocery store or your next door neighbor. They are able to deceive you by manipulating the children, the doctors, the legal system and the public. Guess what? I am not fooled!
The bruises don't lie. The mental scars tell a story. The truth will come out. When the truth is revealed, may the hand of GOD come down on the abuser a million times harder than any pain that they have bestowed on the child they have hurt.
I am not a victim myself. Recently, I found out that someone very dear to me is...This child trusted me enough to tell me. This young child is relying on me to protect them. I love this child. Love is powerful. I refuse to stop until I know that this child is safe and free from all the pain that they have endured. I will reach my hands around the world until I know this person is safe.
Do you know that you can starve a child for THREE days and it is not considered neglect?!! If the child is not medically malnourished, there is no proof because they're too young to speak for themselves. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE?
It is amazing how scared people are to speak up. There are people out there that know the truth about the abuser. They may have a little known fact that would turn the key and unlock the door that would free the child from their painful, helpless prison. I am asking you to speak up.
I could easily set this blog to be private. But, I want everyone to see it. I want the abuser to read it. I want you to know that you may be able to scare a young child, but you don't scare me. It ends here. Your lies, manipulation, deception, and pain you inflict upon other people is coming down on you.
I am not going to drag this out....Please pray for the little people.
May GOD bless and protect all the children of this world that are victims of physical abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse and neglect. May GOD keep them safe and in his loving hands....written annonymously....
In closing, I applaud this young woman's perception of child abuse and it's perpatrators....if only more of the general public could see through her eyes then perhaps more of our children would remain safe....I join in her PLEA...ANYONE, EVERYONE...out there who even "suspects" a child is being harmed in ANY way, speak up, make a phone call, make MANY phone calls!!...to the police, to Child Protective Services...DO SOMETHING...DO NOT LOOK AWAY...you may be the ONLY person that child has......"speak up"
